Front entrance of Enterprise City Hall to close temporarily during renovations

November 07,2023

Visitors to Enterprise City Hall must access the building through the back entrance starting Wednesday, Nov. 8 as construction continues during the building’s renovation.

The parking lot just off Main Street will be blocked off.  Parking will be available behind the city hall building. Entrances to the mayor’s office, water department, magistrate, revenue/accounting, and police records will be clearly marked.

“We appreciate our citizens’ patience as we work through the renovation of Enterprise City Hall,” Mayor William E. Cooper said. “Our staff is doing all they can to work with the contractor to minimize the impact to our residents as we work to create a more efficient building that will better serve them.”

This temporary closure of the front entrance is expected to last one week.  Construction to city hall started last month and is expected to take about a year. This project was approved by Enterprise City Council and should be complete by late 2024.

Several city departments have relocated during the construction. For a detailed list of locations, click here.
