Maintenance work related to the pond at Johnny Henderson Family Park may impact visitors.

A portion of the walking trail around the pond is closed as well as Hole 13 of the LZ Disc Golf Course.

Public Works employees are making a point repair to the 60” corrugated metal pipe that serves as the overflow pipe for the pond. Crews are currently pumping water out of the pond to make the necessary repairs.

Barricades have been put up for safety.  Equipment related to the project is impeding the walking trail, forcing the temporary closure. The work is also being completed near Hole 13 of the LZ Disc Golf Course, making it unusable. Work is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
