Enterprise City Hall closed Friday for HVAC, utility work

January 18,2024

Enterprise City Hall will be closed Friday, Jan. 19 as part of the ongoing renovation project.

City Engineer Barry Mott said modifications need to be made to the HVAC system and some utilities inside the building.

“We appreciate the public’s patience as we continue to improve Enterprise City Hall for our citizens,” Cooper said. “By closing the building Friday, we believe this will allow crews to make the necessary modifications in the most efficient manner. We look forward to be back open for business Monday.”

Cooper said that any citizen who may need to pay a traffic ticket or water bill during the closure will not be penalized.  Both the Magistrate’s Office and the Water Department will reopen Monday at 7:30 a.m. to begin accepting payments.

Enterprise City Hall is in the midst of a $7.8 million renovation.  Work is expected to be completed by October.
