Ongoing construction along Highway 167 will affect the entrance to Johnny Henderson Family Park and the Enterprise Civic Center over the next week.

As part of the project aimed to move traffic more efficiently on Highway 167 from Boll Weevil Circle to Salem Road, the entrance to the park and the Civic Center will be repaved.

Crews are expected to work on the Johnny Henderson Family park entrance Thursday and Friday.  Park access will be down to one lane.  The entrance by Donaldson Park will not be affected.  Visitors are encouraged to utilize the park entrance off Highway 51.

Construction is expected to affect the entrance of the Enterprise Civic Center next week.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the area, expect delays and to be mindful of the people and equipment in the work zone.

The Alabama Department of Transportation project is projected to be completed in the Fall.
