City leaders Tuesday announced additional details for the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at Enterprise City Hall at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30.

The Rev. Matt Jordan of Enterprise First Methodist Church will deliver the message, “The Reason for the Season.”  The ceremony will feature special music by the Hillcrest Elementary School Choir, under the direction of Sarah McLendon.  Special guests including Whoville characters, the Enterprise Queens and Santa will be in attendance.

Local businessman Chad Wester will serve as emcee.  Wester and his wife Kendra own Boll Weevil Soap Company on Main Street.  The business was named the Alabama Gold Retailer of the Year in the Annual Sales Less than $1 Million category in 2022 by the Alabama Retail Association.

Following the ceremony, everyone is invited to stick around for cookies and hot chocolate, as well as photos with Santa.
