The Nook

Located at 123 South Main Street, a small Enterprise Public Library parking lot has become gathering space for the community. This property was selected to be the home of the new Main Street Business Incubator Container "Small Box Shop" and the Design Committee and Young Main Street Committee worked together to give the space new life.

On a day-to-day basis, the Nook is used as a community space for citizens to gather and spend time together. The space is also utilized during signature downtown festivals such as "Spring Festival", "Boll Weevil Fall Festival" and "Whoville Celebration". During those events, local musicians will be scheduled to play on The Nook stage for the public.

In the summer of 2024, the space was used every week for the "Nook @ Night: Summer Series" in which local musicians took to the stage every Friday night from 6PM - 8PM. The public were invited to bring their lawn chairs, grab dinner and drinks from the downtown restaurants and enjoy free live music every Friday night of the summer.
