[ARCHIVED] Distancing directives in place for May 5 council workshop, meeting

The Enterprise City Council will convene in Work Session at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

TENTATIVE AGENDA

DISCUSSION OF MAY 5, 2020 COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA

AND ANY OTHER BUSINESS THAT MAY COME BEFORE THE COUNCIL

**Per directive of Council President, the public is reminded of the Governor’s stay at home order of April 4, 2020, and that unless they are required to attend due to essential city business, they should not attend and, instead, watch the proceedings via the city’s YouTube channel. Moreover, as required by the stay at home order, no more than 10 persons, including the Mayor and Council Members, shall be allowed in the Council Chambers. Therefore, counting the Mayor, the Council Members, the acting City Clerk, the City Attorney, and one representative from each of The Enterprise Ledger and Southeast Sun, there will be no others admitted into the meeting without appropriate safeguards as directed by the Council President. Department Heads or other selected city staff should station themselves in City Hall, while practicing the six-foot social distancing rule, and be available to attend the meeting if they are called in by cell phone. Limited space may be available outside the Council Chambers for members of the public required to attend, and whose presence will not violate the stay at home order. Even so, if the six-foot distancing rule cannot be complied with, any person outside the Council Chambers will be asked to leave that area.
